FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Is BEIJO only for women?

BEIJO is designed with a deep reverence for feminine anatomy and cyclical wisdom, but the practices, tools, and rituals we offer are open to all individuals who wish to connect with their body in a more intentional, embodied way. Sensuality, presence, and healing are not gender-bound.

How do I clean and care for my TULA?

TULA should be cleaned with warm water and mild soap before and after each use. Dry gently with a soft cloth and store it in a cool, dry place, ideally in its protective pouch. As it is made of natural walnut wood, avoid soaking or using harsh chemicals to preserve the integrity of the surgical-grade varnish.

Is vaginal steaming safe?

When practiced mindfully, yoni steaming can be a soothing ritual. However, it is not recommended during pregnancy or until full postpartum healing has occurred. If you have specific gynecological concerns or medical conditions, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before incorporating steaming into your routine.

How often should I steam?

Steaming can be done 1–3 times per month, depending on your body and intention. Some prefer to steam before or after menstruation, others use it as a monthly ritual of self-connection. Listen to your body - it will guide you.

What if I feel emotional or unsure during a practice?

That’s completely natural. BEIJO practices are designed to bring you closer to your body, and sometimes this awakens stored emotion or discomfort. Pause, breathe, place a hand over your heart or pelvis, and know that you’re safe. You are not doing it wrong - you're simply listening. Respect your limits and listen to yourself.

Are your products body-safe and ethically produced?

Yes. All BEIJO products are crafted with integrity and care. TULA is handmade in Switzerland using sustainably sourced walnut wood and finished with surgical-grade varnish. Queen Steam blends are developed with a certified naturopath using ecologically grown herbs from Catalonia.

Do I need experience to use BEIJO tools or practices?

No prior experience is needed. Everything we offer is designed to be intuitive and accompanied by clear guidance. Whether you are new to sensual self-care or returning to your body after a long pause, BEIJO meets you exactly where you are.
